HUBUNGAN TINGKAT MOTIVASI DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RUANG HEMODIALISARSUD NGANJUK

Patients with CKD that join hemodialisa in long term can be decreased in motivation and it can make their quality of life was also being decreased. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between motivation level and quality of life of CKD patients in Hemodialisa Room of RSUD Nganjuk.rn The design of this research is correlation with cross sectional approach. The populationwas all patients of CKD treated in Hemodialisa Room of RSUD Nganjuk. Its average number was 65 patients / month. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique and obtained the sample size as much as 56 patients. The independent variable was the Motivation Level and the dependent variable was the Quality of Life of CKD patient. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by Spearman Rank test (= 0,05).rnThe results showed that most of the respondents of CKD patients had a strong motivation level, as many as 35 respondents (62.5%) in Hemodialisa Room of RSUD Nganjuk. Most of the respondents of CKD patients have sufficient quality of life, as many as 37 respondents (66.1%) in Hemodialisa Room Nganjuk RSUD. Spearman Rank test resulted p-value = 0.000 ≤ (=0,05), thus hypothesis was accepted, means there was relationship between motivation with quality of life of CKD patients in Hemodialisa Room ofRSUD Nganjuk. rnThe strength of patients’ motivation made them trying to run hemodialisa regularly, so their health quality was kept well. Patients can do their daily activities and even working for their family.
