The most common fractures are femoral fractures, which fall into groups of three major cases of fractures. Handling of the femoral fracture is surgical, and postoperative patients will experience pain due to injury as a result of tissue discontinuity. The deep breath relaxation technique can decrease the pain level in the post operative patient of femoral fracture because it can help reduce and control the pain. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of deep breath relaxation on the patient's post femoral fracture pain level in RSUD Dr. HarjonoPonorogo.rnDesign of this research is pre experimental ete with One Group Pretest-Postestdesign approach. The study was conducted from 1 February to 31 March 2017. Total Sample 47 by sampling technique with accidental sampling. The independent variable is the relaxation of the deep breath, the dependent variable is the level of pain. Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS) pain gauge. Test statistic is used wilcoxon signed rank test with α 0,05.rnThis research showed level before done deep breath relaxation almost whole that is 76,6% experiencing severe pain, after deep breath relaxation mostly that is 61,7% moderate pain.
